The anti-cancer abilities of dandelions are furthermore backed up by elevating or lowering the liver enzymes in patients suffering from hepatitis B. There isn’t a single Western drug that can do as much good for these patients.

Every medicine (natural or chemical based) has an active substance. The active substances in dandelion are: sesquiterpene lactones, inulin, phenylpropanoids, triterpenoid saponins, polysaccherides. Sesquiterpene lactones are found in numerous plant species and are believed to have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Phenylpropanoids appear to have inflammation-modulating properties, while triterpenoid saponins are adaptogenic (combat stress), a property of many Chinese herbs. Inulin is a strong dietary fiber, which we all know how highly effective is for any kind of intestinal problem. Recent studies conducted around dandelions have proven how diabetic sufferers are amazingly beneficial for people suffering from diabetes. The results haven’t showed up yet, but the same study tries to normalize the AGE’s or advanced gycation endproducts, harmful chemicals produced by those with high blood sugar levels.
